Steps for Requesting and
Reviewing an
FWA

Team Member - Propose an FWA
1. Complete Proposal Form,
give to manager and HR Director.
2. Meet with manager
and HR Director to
discuss proposal.
3. Modify it after discussion, if necessary.
4. Submit final draft to manager and HR Director.
5. If approved, develop implementation
plan.
6. If denied, discuss why
with manager and/or HR Director.
7. Forward a final proposal copy to HR.
8. Monitor payroll, benefits changes
for new FWA.
Manager - Review a Proposal
1. Prepare for a review session.
2. Meet with team member and HR Director to discuss
proposal.
3. Evaluate proposal's overall
impact.
4. Accept or decline the proposal
5. Inform team member as soon as possible
6. If accepted, implement with team member
7. If denied, explain business rationale
8. Update payroll, benefits data |
